Located on the North Shore where the Three Rivers meet, this stadium is a cathedral of football. When Renegade plays in the 4th quarter, the noise level rivals any venue in sports.
The Terrible Towel
This is the defining symbol of Steelers Nation. Bring one. Wave it. If you don't have one, buy one immediately upon arrival. The sight of 65,000 yellow towels twirling is intimidating and awesome.
FedEx Great Hall
The Great Hall is an open-air concourse on the east side heavily populated with Steelers history. You can see the Super Bowl trophies, lockers of legends, and massive murals. It's a museum built into the stadium.
Tailgating & Parking
Parking on the North Shore is strictly permit-only and expensive.
The Gateway Clipper
A pro tip for visitors: Park at Station Square on the south side of the river and take the Gateway Clipper ferry across to the stadium. It's scenic, avoids traffic, and drops you right at the gate.
Food: Primanti Bros.
You fan find a Primanti Bros. sandwich inside the stadium. It comes with fries and coleslaw on the sandwich. It is a Pittsburgh requirement.
Seating
- Lower Level (100s): The best energy.
- Open End Zone: The south end is open, offering views of the downtown skyline, which makes for incredible photos during night games.
